U.S. forces struck a boat traveling in the Caribbean, killing three people on board, President Donald Trump said in a social media post. It’s the third such attack this month on vessels accused of transporting narcotics by sea.
Writing on his Truth Social app, Trump claimed that the boat was operating in international waters and was “trafficking illicit narcotics” through a “known narcotrafficking passage.

The painting hung in the library for 70 years before it was ordered to be removed, as part of the Naming Commission in 2022 to take down items that commemorate or memorialize the Confederacy.”

American and Iraqi forces killed the head of the Islamic State group’s international operations in an early morning raid in Syria.
The Iraqi Counterterrorism Service announced that U.S. troops and its forces carried out a dawn raid inside Syria that resulted in the death of Omar Abdul Qader, ISIS’s head of operations and external security. The operation is the latest in the past three months to kill or capture top members of the terror group still active inside Syria.
Neither the U.S. nor Iraq offered details on the raid except that it was an “air raid.
Four special operations soldiers who were aboard a MH-60 Black Hawk helicopter that crashed Wednesday night near Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington are believed to be dead, Army officials announced. The soldiers were with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.
