The start of Armed Forces Week has been marked with a flag-raising event at Parliament, celebrating the role played by the Armed Forces in the UK and overseas, with the Ukrainian Defence Minister also in attendance.
Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, hosted the event before inviting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Speaker’s House.
