All the troops, static defenses, limited shore artillery, and multiple panzer divisions had this purpose. They sought to limit who made it ashore, kill those who did, and shove all the dead, the dying, and the equipment into the English Channel. So where were the panzers in Normandy on D-Day?
They were ill-led, lacked timely orders, and most never saw the sands of France again. But one panzer unit did make it to the coast.

Russian media in Moscow is reporting a 5 day ceasefire will be soon announced in the Gaza conflict, in order to allow for humanitarian aid to be delivered. This will happen concurrently with a prisoner exchange for Hamas prisoners in Israel and Israeli hostages held in Gaza.
A permanent ceasefire will be then possibly be negotiated as well.

Boeing has commenced production of 24 Boeing AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters for Morocco, the manufacturer announced on 13 November.
Work was launched at the Mesa facility in Arizona some three-and-a-half years after the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract was signed for an undisclosed value in June 2020. Deliveries are to begin in 2024.

The UK Royal Air Force (RAF) is providing aerial surveillance support to Israel in its ongoing operation against Hamas militants in Gaza, it was disclosed on 13 November.
Answering questions in the House of Commons, Minister of State for the Armed Forces James Heappey said, aircraft have been deployed to the region in support of Israel and the UK’s wider security concerns.

The European F-16 Training Center that will instruct Ukrainian pilots was officially opened in Romania on 13 November.
The ministers of defence for Romania and the Netherlands, Angel Tîlvăr and Kajsa Ollongren unveiled the centre along with Orlando Sanchez, Lockheed Martin’s vice-president,at the 86th Fetesti Air Base in eastern Romania.

Northrop Grumman has completed the first flight of Australia’s on-order MQ-4C Triton remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS),the company announced on 13 November.
The company said the flight took place on 9 November at its Palmdale Aircraft Integration Center in California. Northrop Grumman said the first of four contracted MQ-4Cs will be delivered to Australia in 2024.

The US State Department has approved the possible Foreign Military Sales of M1A2 Abrams main battle tanks (MBTs) and related equipment to Romania. The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said in a press release on 9 November that Congress was informed of the possible sale earlier the same day.

The U.S. Navy is set to demonstrate the ability of an uncrewed underwater vehicle, or UUV, to launch and recover a smaller drone that can both swim and fly. The service says it wants the two platforms to be able to go through the deployment and retrieval processes autonomously — without any human involvement.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) push into Gaza City has reached the gates of Al-Shifa Hospital, where patients are dying with no medicine or fuel to keep life-saving equipment operating and corpses are stacking. Other hospitals in the city are facing the same dire circumstances. Israel, which maintains some of these hospitals are used by Hamas as military headquarters, has yet to greenlight a direct assault inside the main Gaza health facilities.

The Army will correct the military records of Black soldiers hanged by the U.S. military following the 1917 Houston race riots and deliver veteran benefits to their descendants in a display of historical reckoning.
