The new Armed Forces Commissioner has said she will examine issues affecting service families, housing, and the wider military community as she takes up her new role.
Polly Miller-Perkins is a former Air Commodore who served for more than 30 years in the Royal Air Force.
Asked how her role will improve life for service personnel and their families, she said it will "reinvigorate and reinforce" the complaint system within the Armed Forces.
