Singaporean Air Force F-16D fighter jets participating in the U.S.-led Red Flag military exercises in Alaska have been seen integrating the Israeli ELTA EL/L-8212 airborne self-defence pod. Singaporean F-16s are some of the most heavily customised in the world, and although based on the standard F-16C/D Block 52 design, they incorporate a unique combination of U.S., indigenous, and Israeli-developed systems.

Do we have a deal? After weeks of a dizzying dance of threats and promises, it looks as if Iran and the United States are moving towards completion of a formal cease-fire.
U.S. Special Operations Command “reported mixed success” in meeting cost and schedule goals for several of its most expensive acquisition programs, according to a Government Accountability Office report.
The report, released Thursday, cited a disconnect among military officials over access to acquisition information, inconsistent financial reporting, and disparate application of leading product development practices as reasons for SOCOM’s programmatic delays and cost concerns.

In many ways, the MOU is more like a ceasefire than it is a peace deal.

After four years of brutal attrition, the war in Ukraine has taken its toll on Moscow’s armored reserves, with the majority of its pre-war Soviet-era stocks now seemingly depleted.
According to some reports, Russia’s old stocks, which numbered between 10,000 and 20,000 prior to the war, now consist of around 2,000 mothballed tanks in poor condition.
