Rumors Say That Trump Is Losing Patience Over Iranian Conflict: The Wall Street Journal reports President Trump launched into a tirade at Iranian leaders during an Oval Office meeting as a war in Iran drags into its fifth month, and aides worry the conflict is consuming his presidency and hurting Republican midterm chances.

According to the piece, which was attributed to unnamed sources, the Journal wrote that the president is fed up with diplomacy and increasingly frustrated with the lack of progress in the conflict, which began five months ago.

The reality of the war in Ukraine is indeed shifting for ordinary people inside Russia due to an escalation in long-range drone and economic targeting.

Recent Ukrainian strikes have expanded beyond energy infrastructure to hit major commercial distribution hubs and retail networks deep inside Russian territory.

Ukraine continued its long-range strike campaign against Russia overnight into Friday, July 24, once again targeting logistics hubs belonging to Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer.

The strikes are the fifth consecutive attack on the company over the last week as Kyiv looks to disrupt logistics and infrastructure supporting the Russian war.

The Ukrainian attacks reportedly hit Wildberries facilities in St. Petersburg, Tver, and Russian-occupied Simferopol in Crimea.

According to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Russia is losing 5,000 troops a week on the battlefields of Ukraine. The remarks came after Rubio met with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, in Manila to discuss measures to end the war. The remarks from the Secretary of State align with other claims of high Russian casualty rates from U.S. and Ukrainian officials. Despite supposedly taking “staggeringly high” losses, Putin seems to be in no hurry to end the war as Moscow continues to intensify its missile campaign against Kyiv and other regions in Ukraine.

President Donald Trump has nominated Lt. Gen. Kevin Admiral to lead U.S. Army Europe and Africa as its next commander, the Pentagon announced Thursday.
If confirmed, he would also serve as commander of NATO’s Allied Land Command.
The general has been tapped as the permanent replacement for Gen. Christopher Donahue, who departed his role as head of USAREUR-AF a few weeks ago and was reportedly forced out by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. Maj. Gen. Christopher Norrie has been serving as acting commander since Donahue’s exit.

After the  Russians unleashed more deadly airstrikes, targeting Ukrainian civilians, killing at least 11 and wounding dozens, Ukraine responded by attacking warehouses belonging to Russian online retail giant Wildberries outside Saint Petersburg.

Wildberries is the Russian equivalent to Amazon.com; Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the attack on the Wildberries facility in the Saint Petersburg area, claiming it provided components used in the production of drones and other military equipment.

Thousands of National Guardsmen mobilized to Washington, D.C., will soon be living in apartment units under a $290 million rental contract the guard calls a “long-term housing solution,” officials announced.
National Guard Bureau officials announced Friday it had signed a $292 million contract with corporate lodging company Placemakr to provide 2,000 apartment-style units for Guardsmen mobilized in Washington, D.C., according to a Friday press release.

The Wall Street Journal reports that administration officials have claimed the forty-seventh president is in “revenge mode.” President Trump allegedly now thinks that the only way to force a settlement with the Islamic Republic of Iran is through increased military force.

In what sounded like confirmation of those White House comments about Trump’s mood, the president told a crowd that, “[The Iranians] haven’t received enough pain yet.” He promised to initiate the largest attack of the war in the coming days, to show how serious he was about not letting Iran continue the war.

Iran secretly flew senior members of the country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), as well as missile-related equipment (such as drone components), into Yemen earlier this month in what appears to be a significant expansion of Tehran’s support for the Houthi movement, according to multiple sources familiar with the operation.

The reported deployment comes as the Houthis have intensified attacks against commercial shipping and Saudi oil infrastructure in the Red Sea, raising concerns that Iran is strengthening one of its most strategically important regional proxies.
