French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu declared on Sunday that French armored vehicles could arrive in Ukraine next week.
The AMX-10 is a wheeled armored vehicle with a powerful gun, and is sometimes described as a light tank. The move comes more than a month after Paris said it would send some 30 of these vehicles as part of a new aid package after sending anti-aircraft weapons and mobile artillery systems.
But the AMX-10, being lightly armored, doesn’t measure up to the kind of vehicles Ukraine insists it needs to win the conflict with Russia.

NEW DELHI, INDIA – Lockheed Martin has shown off its proposal for an Indian fighter. The F-21 , a version of the F-16 , was developed specifically for the needs of the Indian Air Force . The American company displayed its Indian proposal at the Aero India 2023 international airshow.

Nataliya, a spokeswoman for the Joint Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, reported on Ukrainian television that two Russian vessels carrying Kalibr cruise missiles have reached the Black Sea but that supplies of these missiles have been depleted.
According to her, the Russian warships and submarines carrying the missiles have been on combat duty since Sunday morning. This naval group is capable of launching as many as eight missiles.

French multinational manufacturing company Safran has reported that its full year 2022 revenue increased by 24.8% to nearly €19.04bn, compared to 2021.
The company’s revenue on an organic basis also rose by 15.8% in the year.
Recurring operating income in 2022 was €2.408bn, up 33.4% compared to 2021 and 28% on an organic basis. The operating margin stood at 12.6% of sales.

Safran noted that the increase was driven by Propulsion, and Equipment and Defence service activities.
Adjusted revenue for Propulsion, and Equipment and Defence segments were €9.506bn and €7.535bn, respectively.

Bangalore-based Cingularity Aerospace has developed two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) featuring tandem wings, including one that can be used either as a loitering munition or to conduct intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions while the second one is focused on combat.

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has partnered with Adani Defence and Aerospace to manufacture its Drone Detect, Deter, and Destroy (D4) counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS), a company official told
Janes
at the Aero India 2023 show, which was held in Bangalore from 13 to 17 February.

The technology transfer has been completed, and Adani has started manufacturing the D4 C-UAS, the official said.
