Russia is accusing Ukraine of launching a drone attack on the Kremlin in an attempt to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the Associated Press. 
Ukraine has officially denied carrying out a drone attack on Moscow.
A video shared on Twitter appears to show some sort of drone exploding near a flagpole atop the Kremlin. Moscow residents nearby said they heard an explosion around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the Associated Press reported.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has stated that there are restrictions on using Western-supplied weapons to Ukraine by Kyiv forces in the war. The Russian media picked up his comments.
“It is very important to us that the weapons we supply and with which Ukraine can defend itself are not used to attack Russian territory,” Scholz said in Bendorf near Koblenz in western Germany on Tuesday, according to reports.

The United States and the Philippines signed new “bilateral defense guidelines” on Wednesday, which include an emphasis on defending against threats in cyberspace.
