Asked about imagery emerging on social media purporting to show U.S.-made armored vehicles captured in Russia during this week’s cross-border incursion, the Pentagon said it did not authorize the transfer of equipment to “paramilitary organizations outside the Ukrainian Armed Forces” by Kyiv and received no requests to do so.
Images appeared on social media claiming to show that two pro-Ukrainian Russian partisan groups – the Freedom For Russia Legion and the Russian Volunteer Corps – used several U.S.-donated vehicles during a cross-border attack on Russia.

In a recent incident, Ukraine has suggested that a Su-34 fighter that went down in Bryansk, Russia, may have been shot down by a Patriot system, according to reports on the Defense Express website.
These claims are in addition to the recent Ukrainian government statement about the downing of six Kinzhal missiles by a Ukrainian Patriot. Although no hard evidence supports these claims, speculation has grown around this incident.

The White House said on Monday that Russia was looking to buy more advanced attack drones from Iran for use in its war against Ukraine after using up the bulk of the 400 drones it had previously purchased from Tehran.

Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall says that his service is doing everything it can to avoid the kinds of “acquisition malpractice” he says is still dogging the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter when it comes to the competition for its new stealth six-generation crewed tactical jet. This will include an insistence on a firmer design from the outset and U.S. government ownership of at least a significant portion of the data rights to it.

“I am very happy with the decision of the Italians, which is that an Italian missile destroyer with powerful anti-aircraft and anti-missile weapons will soon arrive in Poland, which will reinforce the anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense of the Polish coast.
