US private equity firm TRM Equity has acquired US-based Gamma Aerospace, which makes parts for military and commercial aircraft, the buyer announced on 3 March.Founded in 1971, Gamma is based in Mansfield, Texas, near Fort Worth, and employs more than 200 people. Its customers include Bell, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman. A TRM official declined to disclose what his firm paid for Gamma, from whom it purchased the company, or what defence programmes Gamma supports.

The Nigerian Army has selected the armed MD 530F Cayuse Warrior Plus to meet its rotary-winged counter-insurgency requirement. (MD Helicopters)
Nigeria has selected the MD Helicopters (MDH) MD 530F Cayuse Warrior Plus (CWP) light attack helicopter, which was announced on 7 March.
The Arizona-based company said it is to supply 12 CWP helicopters to the Nigerian Army “to assist in counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations”. MDH did not disclose a contract value or delivery timeline.

The first announcement of the handover of the Anadolu TCG was made in various Turkish defense media on March 05, 2023, which was considered somewhat surprising as there was no ceremony or official announcement by the Turkish Defense Agency (SSB).
