The Eurotank grabbed a ton of attention at arms shows and defense internet forums when it revealed its 140mm main gun, it’s 20mil coaxial autocannon and if that wasn’t enough it’s 30mm remote weapon station on top of that. This is the best kind of hat on a hat. It’s overkill personified.
The Enhanced main battle tank is Essentially what happens when a French and German defense industry team up together. This is why they’ve been fighting each other for centuries because if they ever started working together they would create unholy overkill machines. The beast as first revealed at the Eurosatory 2024 arms expo in June. It’s like Eurovision but for weaponry instead of songs.
The idea here is that the “Eurotank:” will be a common armored platform that can be readily adopted by other European nations. Think of it like how, how the Leopard 1 and 2 became the accepted standard across Western Europe during the 20th Century except now its gone full tilt.
