Hari Budha Magar has revealed how he seeks to inspire new Gurkhas, sharing his story of resilience and how the Army cares for soldiers and their families, even in loss.
The former soldier was severely injured by an IED in Afghanistan, but that did not deter the double above-knee amputee from becoming a record-breaking mountaineer.
He told BFBS Forces News how he aimed to be a role model for soldiers who have already been injured – and for those who may end up with injuries in the future, explaining how their disability could be met with hope and optimism.
