The group membership was split evenly between Democratic and Republican affiliations and were all very well-known policymakers, legislators, and analysts who have extensive experience in nuclear weapons-related issues. This made it all the more surprising when the report endorsed a significant increase in U.S.

When this happens, soldiers must be measured via tape test, which is known to lead soldiers down a path of unsafe weight loss methods to “make tape.

General Atomics screencap
General Atomics has released a new video of testing of its Mojave drone aboard the U.K. Royal Navy’s aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales back in November. The montage of clips, seen below, offers previously unseen views of the drone in flight and making short takeoffs and landings from the ship, which does not have aircraft-launching catapults or arresting wires – at least for now.
In cooperation with the Royal Navy, General Atomics tested Mojave on board Prince of Wales on November 15 as the ship sailed off the coast of Virginia.

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — On the heels of the White House’s new National Spectrum Strategy, the Navy’s top civilian said there is still apprehension about a future in which the Pentagon would have to share portions of the spectrum with civil and commercial users, as well as any potential secondary consequences that doing so would create.

The U.S. military has released a video of an AC-130J Ghostrider gunship firing its 30mm cannon during recent live-fire training over the Caribbean Sea. U.S. officials say this was unrelated to a still-nebulous air exercise American forces carried out with their counterparts in Guyana that occurred on the same day. Still, it is an unusually public demonstration of American capabilities in the region that comes amid an especially serious flare-up of a long-standing territorial dispute between Guyana and Venezuela.

Can zero trust enable secure and efficient information-sharing between the U.S. military and its international partners? The Pentagon plans to find out during the upcoming Keen Edge exercise and other events in the Indo-Pacific region.
Zero trust is a cybersecurity concept and framework that assumes networks are already compromised and require constant monitoring and authentication to protect critical info. Department of Defense components are expected to move to that model by 2027, and bringing overseas allies into the fold could be critical for interoperability.

Understanding Redzikowo: A NATO Shield or Putin’s Nightmare?
In the heart of northern Poland lies Redzikowo, a village housing a NATO military base that, according to the U.S., acts as a shield against missile attacks, particularly from Eastern threats. However, for Russian President Vladimir Putin, this strategic military outpost is nothing short of a thorn in his side, emblematic of NATO’s relentless eastward expansion.
A ground-based interceptor was launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, on 11 December. This was the first flight test of a three-stage booster operating in two-stage mode, meaning the third-stage was not ignited. (Missile Defense Agency)

When the Russian military invaded Ukraine in February 2022, the Russian leadership believed that it would obtain a quick victory by overthrowing the Ukrainian government through surprise, speed, and overwhelming force — a coup de main. But the Ukrainian military repelled this numerically superior Russian force at the battle of Kyiv by denying the Russian military the use of Ukrainian airfields, blowing up their bridges, flooding their rivers, weaponizing a large portion of the civilian population, and ultimately grinding the military’s main effort to a halt.

Earlier this year, Sweden promised Archer artillery systems to Ukraine. Now, video shows the system in action. Each Archer system can fire a series of rounds in rapid succession, allowing a single gun to achieve “time on target,” synchronized effects like a whole battery.
These synchronized shots do greater damage to defenders than other barrages, but Ukraine faces a larger problem right now. Their soldiers must ration artillery ammunition as the West struggles to produce what is needed. The Archer, for all of its capabilities, cannot change that. For now, only Congress can likely do so.
