Sexual offence investigations on rise but are personnel having their day in court?
According to new data, military sexual offence investigations rose by 25% in 2024, with 357 cases – up from 284 in 2023.
While rape investigations slightly dropped, there was a sharp rise in cases of different kinds of sexual assault, indecent exposure, and voyeurism.
The figures have been unveiled in the latest statistics on Murder, manslaughter and sexual offences in the Service Justice System.
