The new Minister for Veterans and People is settling into the brief with her first overseas visit to British Forces Cyprus.
Louise Sandher-Jones MP met with serving personnel and their families across all bases on the island to hear the “unique challenges” to service away from home.
The Labour MP for North East Derbyshire was appointed minister in September 2025 but before spent seven years as an officer in the Intelligence Corps.
