In a somewhat unusual episode, Ukraine briefly came under threat of a ballistic missile attack from Iran. Following an attack on an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian, the Foreign Ministry of Iran threatened to respond militarily.

After some harsh rhetoric traded back and forth, Telegram channels linked to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) began reporting that the Military was preparing for a strike from Iranian missiles.

The Iranians rejected a proposal to divide control of the Strait of Hormuz evenly, jeopardizing hopes that Tehran and Washington would quickly resume negotiations to end the conflict.

Oman, which sits opposite Iran across the southern side of the strait, suggested a temporary plan to establish even lanes of control, but Tehran demanded Tuesday that it take the lion’s share of the waterway critical to the flow of the world’s oil supply, one of its top diplomats said.

According to some OSINT estimations, Russian online retailer Wildberries has lost 10% of its warehouse space after repeated Ukrainian drone attacks. The attacks come as part of a wider campaign to bring the war home to Russia and cripple the country’s consumer economy. Thus far, Ukraine has damaged or destroyed seven warehouses belonging to Wildberries, inflicting severe financial losses on thousands of small businesses across Russia. The Russian government may be forced to bail out the company after it has lost several million worth of assets.

Air travel can be a pain in the butt. Airlines can lose your luggage, the passenger in the seat next to you might emit an odor (and will probably feel the need to tell you about how they almost joined the military), then everyone suddenly forgets how to remove their bag from the overhead bins after you land.
But before any of that, you have to get through security screening. Luckily, the Transportation Security Administration is making that part easier for military members, veterans, and their families with dedicated security lanes.
