On its website, the Federal Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced yesterday, April 18, that Germany had transferred a Patriot anti-aircraft missile system and missile suite to Ukraine.
In addition to the air defense system and missiles, Germany also supplied Kyiv with 16 Zetros trucks and two border patrol vehicles. This delivery marks the first confirmed case of the transfer of a Patriot battery to Ukraine.
The supplied weapon system has been placed under the category of “delivered” military aid, which Germany has pledged to provide to Ukraine, amounting to $2.

Further to our report yesterday on Germany’s delivery of a Patriot air defense battery and missiles to Ukraine, the Ukrainian Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov has issued a statement of his own regarding the arrival of what appears to be the first such systems.
Posting on Twitter, Reznikov said that “Our beautiful sky becomes more secure because Patriot air defense systems have arrived in Ukraine.

The French Navy has received its second Airbus H160 helicopter, a cutting-edge medium twin-engine helicopter that will execute maritime search and rescue (SAR) operations. 
Babcock delivered the helicopter to its Le Cannet-des-Maures facility, where it was modified to a light military configuration.
Under France’s Military Programming Law (LPM) 2019-2025, the French Armaments Directorate General (DGA) bought six helicopters, including the second H160, from Airbus Helicopters, Babcock, and Safran Helicopter Engines.
