In response to recent terrorist threats, the Indian Navy will deploy MARCOS and NSG “black cat” commandos during the upcoming G-20 meetings in Srinagar, Kashmir.

MARCOS commandos, specialized in maritime operations, and elite NSG commandos will join local and foreign security forces to ensure the protection of international dignitaries at the event.
India aims to present the Kashmir Valley as a major tourist destination, countering the perception of the region as a zone of conflict and terrorism.

Ukraine’s Armed Forces are not buying into the head of the Wagner mercenary group’s emotional screed threatening to pull out of Bakhmut next week due to a lack of ammunition. In an impassioned address apparently delivered near the battlefield, Yevgeny Prigozhin said his troops were thrown into the “Bakhmut Meat Grinder” and then abandoned by “near-military bureaucrats” who cut off the ammunition flow and “sit and shake their fat bellies and think that they will go down in history as winners.

BALTIMORE, Md. — After designing its initial warfighting platform – strung together with disparate systems from each of the services – U.S. Cyber Command is looking to build out the next generation.
The Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture (JCWA) was designed in 2019 to get a better handle on the capabilities, platforms and programs the command was designing, and set priorities for the Department of Defense as well as the industry partners that would be building them.

As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine drags on, the head of the Wagner Group mercenary force is once again threatening to withdraw his forces from the conflict. 
In a gruesome, expletive-laden video reportedly filmed on May 4, Wagner honcho Yevgeniy Prigozhin can be seen at night, walking amongst the fallen bodies of his organization’s mercenaries. 
“Those are soldiers we lost today. Their blood is still fresh,” Prigozhin says in the video, according to Politico. “And now listen to me, fuckers.

Turkish defense company Baykar has unveiled a mini drone-launched autonomous cruise missile. Baykar has developed the Bayraktar Kemankes to arm its Bayraktar Akinci, TB2 and TB3 combat drones, it said in a statement.
The missile has an autopilot system assisted by artificial intelligence and has a range of one hour.

The missile’s AI-assisted optical guidance system helps it “identify and engage targets with pinpoint accuracy, even in difficult conditions.

Combatant morale is crucial to how militaries perform. The capital ship Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group (GRFCSG), the first aircraft carrier of its class USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), departed Naval Station Norfolk for the first certified combat deployment.
“This strike group is the cornerstone of our Navy’s forward operations, capable of meeting any task provided by regional combatant commanders to ensure peace and stability at sea,” said Rear Adm. Greg Huffman, commanding officer of the Carrier Strike Group 12.
