The Ukrainian Air Force can now employ Joint Direct Attack Munition-Extended Range precision-guided bombs, or JDAM-ERs, against Russian forces, says the U.S. Air Force’s top officer in Europe. Ukraine’s stockpile of these bombs, which can hit targets up to 45 miles away thanks to their pop-out wing kits, is currently relatively small. However, they could already present real problems for Russia’s military as The War Zone has previously explored in detail.

We recently got an unusually detailed look at a USAF AC-130J Ghostrider gunship using much of its diverse arsenal from a recent military exercise in South Korea. The deployment of the AC-130 — which is as much a arsenal ship as a gunship these days — constituted the first time a ‘Ghostride’ J model, the most recent AC-130 to enter USAF service, has ever gone to that country.

Amid rumors that Ukraine may now be conducting a tactical withdrawal from the besieged eastern city of Bakhmut and its environs, Russian forces are continuing to take heavy losses, according to multiple reports. For months now, Bakhmut and the surrounding area have been the scene of intense fighting, but as Russian troops and mercenary forces close around the city, Western officials have stressed that its loss would be more symbolic than a significant turning point in the conflict.

Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov has reiterated a plea for the country’s international partners to provide it with more modern Western fighter jets, such as the U.S.-made F-16 Viper. He has also rejected calls from inside the Ukrainian government to push American authorities to send A-10 Warthog ground attack aircraft. This follows reports that two Ukrainian pilots are now in the United States as part of an exchange that will include a skills assessment, which might point to the possibility of future transfers of Vipers and/or other Western combat aircraft.

In national contests, in addition to economic means and weapons of various specifications, radar also plays an important role. A radar is a type of electronic equipment that uses electromagnetic waves to detect targets. 
Radar works by transmitting electromagnetic waves to the target and then receiving its echo so that the position and range of activities of the target can be located, and it plays the role of early warning and air defense.

Radar is responsible for national security and is indispensable equipment for all countries.

The government will choose between Boeing’s F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet, and Dassault Aviation’s Rafale M fighters, Navy head Admiral R. Hari Kumar said on Friday, adding that the Rafale M shares support and replacement parts with the Air Force.
“The government will make the decision… Each aircraft is good. They have proven their worth. Undoubtedly there will be additional concerns, such as the fact that the Air Force already has Rafales. There will be a commonality of support and replacement parts, etc. “Each has its own strengths and shortcomings,” Adm.

SFC Alwyn Cashe was a highly decorated Army veteran. He served America with distinction in various military campaigns. Born in Sanford, Florida, in 1970, he joined the Army after completing high school and served in the Gulf War and the Kosovo Defense Campaign.
However, his final deployment to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom would earn him the Medal of Honor.

The United States maintains a continuous bomber presence in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance security among its regional allies and maintain an effective deterrent among its enemies. The continuous bomber presence deploys aircraft from all across the United States, including the normally reliable (and expensive) B-2 Spirit, America’s stealth bomber. 
The only time a B-2 Bomber has ever crashed, it was during this continuous mission. It crashed shortly after takeoff from Andersen Air Force Base on Guam, and resulted in the entire continuous bomber operation being temporarily halted.

In 2016, American and Canadian embassy workers in Havana, Cuba, began reporting sudden cases of chronic headaches, ringing in the ears, vertigo and nausea, among other symptoms of illness. From there, American diplomatic personnel have reported similar symptoms elsewhere around the world, though the illness was still known as “Havana Syndrome.” 
U.S. troops, spies and diplomats have reported the symptoms in places like Colombia, Vietnam, and 94 other countries.
