Belgium has formalised the procurement of a second Airbus A330-200 Multirole Tanker Transport (MRTT) as its contribution to the NATO Multinational MRTT Unit (MMU).
Minister of Defence Ludivine Dedonder signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the additional aircraft on 24 March, bringing the Multinational MRTT Fleet (MMF) to 10 aircraft once deliveries are complete in 2027.

BMC unveiled an upgraded version of the Altay main battle tank (MBT) on 22 March.
Two vehicles are under construction and scheduled to be delivered to the Turkish Land Forces Command (TLFC) in late April, and will undergo a series of trials ahead of entering service in 2024.
The new Altay is the prototype of an initial production batch of 40 tanks.

Turkey’s Baykar has showcased its Bayraktar TB3 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) ahead of its upcoming first flight.
Images posted online by the manufacturer on 27 March showed for the first time the larger and more capable successor to the TB2.
Baykar’s chairman of the board of directors, Selçuk Bayraktar, posted from his official Twitter account that he was “counting the days to his first flight”.
If it weren’t for the weather conditions and mud, it would be an ideal opportunity for the Ukrainian military to launch a counteroffensive.

Ukraine is urging the United Nations (UN) to call an emergency Security Council meeting to condemn what the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is calling “nuclear blackmail” on the part of the Kremlin.

Thales UK is set to start rolling out a package of enhancements for the Sonar 2087 low-frequency active/passive variable depth sonar equipping the Royal Navy’s (RN’s) eight anti-submarine warfare (ASW)-optimised Type 23 frigates under a phased capability insertion project (CIP).
