Aircraft carrier John F Kennedy should enter combat system testing this quarter, according to Christopher Kastner, president, CEO, and director of Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), whose Newport News Shipbuilding unit is constructing the ship.
“CVN 79 Kennedy is well into the test programme,” Kastner said during a quarterly investment call with investment analysts on 9 February.

With an eye on Ukraine’s need to defend against the ongoing Russian offensive, NATO plans to implement new guidelines on stockpiles while also working with member countries’ defense industries to increase their own arsenals while continuing to fill the de Kiev.
Speaking to reporters Monday at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg was blunt in his assessment of ammunition stockpiles and delivery schedules.

According to a report by the Russian Satellite News Agency on February 14, the United States demonstrated the F-35A stealth fighter for the first time at the Indian Air Show.
