The Bundestag, Germany’s parliament, approved the procurement of 227 more BvS10 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) under the Collaborative All-Terrain Vehicle (CATV) programme, the German Ministry of Defence (MoD) announced on its website on 29 March.

That same afternoon, a statement on the app Telegram surfaced claiming Wagner “took control of this entire territory of Soledar.” But even though the Russian army has been fighting across Ukraine for months. This message didn’t come from them. It came from Yevgeny Prigozhin. A Russian oligarch with close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Lockheed Martin’s Sikorsky company is preparing to increase production of its CH-53K King Stallion heavy-lift helicopter following the recent achievement of several milestones, according to programme officials.
Sikorsky, which has delivered nine CH-53Ks to the US Marine Corps (USMC), including four in 2022, is poised to boost the production rate “over the next couple of years” to two a month, or “roughly 24 a year”, said Bill Falk, Sikorsky’s CH-53K programme director.
The Boeing AH-64 Apache is the primary assault helicopter of the United States Army. It was named after a nomadic tribe of Native Americans whose life centered around buffalo. The Apache has proven to be a significant component of the modern American military force structure due to its powerful weapon systems.
What makes this helicopter so special?
It’s not the flying surfaces or performance specs that set the Apache apart from other helicopters; rather, it’s the Integrated Helmet and Visor System (IHADSS) worn by the entire crew.

The Netherlands will be procuring new U.S. and Israeli-made long-range weapons systems for the Dutch Air Force, Navy, and Army, citing an outstanding need for such capabilities in each of the domains. The move comes amid an expansive overhaul of the country’s military strategy spurred in part by the ongoing war in Ukraine and the growing threat posed by Russia.

Sixth generation fighter
Most details of the sixth-generation demo plane remain elusive for safety reasons, but Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall and other service leaders have clearly characterized it as a “family of systems.”
Miniature drones will work in groups or swarms, which pilots will manage in larger aircraft. Some of these unmanned systems are called Collaborative Combat Aircraft by the Air Force.

UK Secretary of State for Defence Ben Wallace and Swedish Minister of Defence Pål Jonson signed a letter of intent (LOI) in London on 29 March on a bilateral strategic partnership. The Swedish and UK ministries of defence (MoDs) said in press releases on 28 and 29 March, respectively, that the signing of the LOI strengthened bilateral military co-operation and the two countries’ defence relationship.
A few days ago, we told you the story of an attempt by Ukrainian intelligence to “buy” a Russian Su-34 fighter bomber from the Russian Aerospace Forces [VKS].
Ukrainian “Bogdan,” speaking to Yahoo News, describes in detail his weeks-long effort to convince Russian pilot Roman Nosenko to flee the battle zone over Ukraine with his Su-34 and turn up the jet to Ukraine or its Western partners. Bogdan owed the pilot $1 million.
Bogdan has been running this operation since the beginning of the war with the support of Ukrainian intelligence.
