According to information from Europäische Sicherheit & Technik (European Security and Technology), the 18 Leopard 2A6 main battle tanks supplied by Germany to the Ukrainian army are to be replaced by an equal number of Leopard 2A8 advanced tanks instead of the previously proposed Leopard 2A7+ models. 
Germany is considering placing a major order for Leopard 2A8 tanks from the German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann.
The Leopard 2A8 will be built on the Leopard 2A7HU chassis and will feature a new engine and active protection systems. In 2018, Hungary ordered 44 of these tanks.

We have a direct follow-up to our recent post on a number of advanced MiG-29s belonging to the Egyptian Air Force that were captured by Sudanese militia forces at Merowe Air Base outside the country’s capital of Khartoum. Satellite imagery obtained by The War Zone shows at least one of these aircraft destroyed and it is likely that others are badly damaged or destroyed, as well.

Over the past ten years, China has been striving to build significant naval aviation capabilities. After reconditioning, under the name of CNS Liaoning, the old aircraft carrier Varyag, acquired from Ukraine for 20 million euros in 2000, he built CNS Shandong, which participated in the recent siege maneuver against Taiwan with its air group.
As a reminder, these two aircraft carriers are in STOBAR [Short Take-Off But Arrested Recovery] configuration, meaning their flight deck is equipped with a springboard to launch their J-15 “Flying Shark” fighters and arresting cables to recover them.

The South Korean military claimed to have fired warning shots at a North Korean patrol boat that had crossed the maritime border between the two countries while pursuing a Chinese fishing boat.
The North Korean patrol boat crossed the so-called Northern Limit Line at around 11 am Saturday while pursuing the Chinese vessel in waters near the South Korean island of Baekryeong but withdrew immediately after a South Korean naval vessel fired warning shots, according to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff reported on Sunday.

As fighting between rival government factions intensifies across much of Sudan, the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, or RSF, recently claimed to have taken control of an airbase in the north of the country where Egypt has deployed MiG-29M/M2 Fulcrum multirole fighter jets. The status of the jets and the airbase are currently unclear, with the confused situation being typical of the violence in Sudan, which has now reportedly claimed at least 97 lives and injured many more.
The RSF is currently engaged in fighting Sudanese military units loyal to Gen.
