A day after two U.S. Army helicopters collided, killing three soldiers, the Army is ordering a stand down for all aerial units in order to review safety measures. 
The order, announced on Friday, April 28 by Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville, calls for a 24-hour stand down in aerial operations in order to review safety matters and refresh their training.

Over 98% of the combat vehicles promised to Ukraine have been delivered, according to a statement released by NATO on April 28, 2023. That’s about 1,550 APCs, 230 MBTs, plus a plethora of other weapons and supplies, not to mention a ton of ammunition. Ukraine’s military is “more than ready” to launch its much-discussed offensive, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov told reporters Friday morning.
“If in a global sense, in a high-percentage mode, we are ready, then the question is for the General Staff, for the command,” Reznikov said during a press conference in Kyiv, which the video below shows in full. ”As soon as there is God’s will, the weather, and the decision of the commanders – we will do it.”
