US President Joe Biden has said that Ukraine is not ready for NATO membership before the end of the war.
If Ukraine joined the alliance during the war, he told CNN in an interview that aired Sunday, “We would be at war with Russia if that were the case,” meaning the NATO alliance would be dragged into the war Conflict.

Greg Little is exiting his post as the Pentagon’s inaugural deputy chief digital and artificial intelligence officer for enterprise platforms and business optimization to join Palantir, DefenseScoop has exclusively learned.
“Confirmed — Greg Little is leaving at the end of July and will go to work for Palantir after his departure,” a Chief Digital and AI Office (CDAO) spokesperson said in an email on Monday.
Little was one the first officials tapped to lead the Defense Department’s nascent CDAO before it reached full operating capability in June 2022.

The Marine Corps is preparing to release a request for proposals for the next iteration of its Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS) with the hopes of acquiring new “non-kinetic” weapons that can take out enemy unmanned aerial systems and other threats.
The push for more air-defense capabilities comes as the Marines are worried about the threat posed by small UAS including kamikaze drones, also known as loitering munitions.

Russia has claimed that Ukraine is now using Cold War-era S-200 long-range surface-to-air missiles — known to NATO as SA-5 Gammon — to attack land targets in its rear areas and in Russia itself. A video from one particular claimed strike appears to show a missile that looks very similar to an S-200 diving almost vertically onto a target, supposedly in Bryansk Oblast, in western Russia, a region that borders Ukraine.

Sergeant First Class Jared Monti was a member of the United States Army. He earned a Medal of Honor for courageous action during the War on Terrorism in Afghanistan. Monti served with the 71st Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division.

An Army Humvee crashed into the front of the 3rd Infantry Division’s headquarters building on Fort Stewart, base officials said. There were no injuries and one arrest.
