This book is the second book in my exploration of DEI and CRT and its toxic effects on the military. My first, American Doctor, Coming Home to War, was published in 2023. This second book is one that should never have to be written. It was written by one of many concerned West Point graduates who have watched the United States Military Academy plunge into dysfunction. West Point was founded in 1802 to serve the nation in war and peace. Its graduates for the most part have done that honorably for over two hundred years.

Army barracks are not well-regarded within the Department of Defense. Even the Advanced Individual Training barracks at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, are not up to Air Force standards; the Inter-Service Postal Training Activity sometimes has last-minute spots open up in classes because airmen arrive and refuse to stay in the barracks. However, at Fort Bliss, Texas, the Army is leading the DoD in additive manufacturing for the construction of facilities—the first 3D-printed barracks.

My first concern is the safety of the crew. My next concern is how did this happen and the potential gaping hole this delivers to the deployment schedule.
If it is a maritime event – always check out Prof. Sal Mercogliano and GCaptain led by Captain John Konrad. Stay smart on this topic – maritime and merchant vessels are always leading indicators of what will happen.
What happened with the U.S.. Truman and the M/V Besiktas-M? Unclear for sure. Watch Prof. Sal’s video for more information.
My first concern is safety of the crews.
