Reports are now coming in from Iraq that the American embassy in Baghdad is under Iranian attack. We don’t know if this is true or not. However, it is to be expected that something like that would happen due to the unfolding new war in the Middle East.
Americans were told your administration would stop the forever wars.
The forever wars just got bigger.
This is not what we voted for.
We voted for peace.
Mr. President, you enabled this war. This is your war now.
We have trusted you.

U.S. Marines temporarily detained a civilian in Los Angeles Friday afternoon, the first known case of the military doing so since it deployed to Los Angeles County. 
The incident was first reported by Reuters, who identified the detained man as U.S. Army veteran Marcos Leao. A spokesperson for U.S. Northern Command confirmed that an individual was detained, but turned over to law enforcement officials after approximately 10 minutes. He was transferred to the custody of officers from the Department of Homeland Security before being released.

Lt. Col. Brian Seymour was removed from command of the 71st Student Squadron on Thursday, June 12, the Air Force said, less than a month after he took over the unit.
“Lt. Col. Brian Seymour was relieved from command of the 71st Student Squadron on 12 June 2025, due to a loss of confidence in his leadership ability,” a spokesperson for the 71st Flying Training Wing said in a statement to Task & Purpose on Friday.
Seymour had only been in the command role for a few weeks. He took over on May 16, in a change of command ceremony held at Vance Air Force Base. He replaced Col.
