NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — The Space Force hopes to release a draft request for proposals by the end of 2025 for its new space domain awareness constellation — comprising satellites that can be refueled from space.
The RG-XX program aims to develop a network of space domain awareness platforms stationed in geosynchronous orbit (GEO) by leveraging commercially available technologies from multiple vendors. The constellation will eventually replace the service’s current Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program (GSSAP) sats, which keep watch over objects of interest on orbit.

Christopher Wilkinson, once an intelligence officer at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, was arrested by a U.S. Marshals Service task force on Sept. 18, according to a press release shared with Task & Purpose by the law enforcement agency.
Wilkinson had been on the run since his command granted him leave in January 2021, just weeks before he was expected to face a court-martial.

Dozens of soldiers at a Virginia base reported getting food poisoning. At the same time, viral social media posts showed that the base dining facility, where enlisted troops eat most of their meals, had received a failing grade. However, base officials say they are separate issues.
The dining hall in question was at Fort Lee — formerly Fort Gregg Adams — in Virginia, home to the Army Ordnance Corps & Ordnance School.
