The residents of Frankenberg, Germany were treated to quite the spectacle as a convoy of US Army vehicles thundered through the town.
This display marked the commencement of Saber Strike 24, the first iteration of the US Army’s Europe and Africa Defender 24 series.
The training, involving around 5,000 troops from nations including the US and the UK, tests the ability of the US to rapidly deploy at scale.
