Soldiers from 3 RIFLES take part in their annual Chesterman Trophy march and shoot patrol competition — a challenging 10-mile march across the Pentland Hills near Edinburgh, culminating in pistol shooting and a military knowledge test at Dreghorn Barracks.
The event honours the memory of Lieutenant Andrew Chesterman, who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2012, combining endurance, skill, and remembrance in a fitting tribute to a fallen comrade.
