The Storm multi-role armoured vehicle is Ukraine’s latest piece of kit in development – set to be the new kid on the block of amphibious military vehicles.
Its design claims to be the first to take advantage of a hybrid-electric power chain, with an 18 to 36-hour range in hybrid mode, or eight-and-a-half hours in diesel generator-only mode.
It will also have an estimated top speed of 88mph on land, with two and a half hours of operation – or 21mph on water for eight hours – all on one battery charge.
