We follow reservists from all walks of life — including barmen, microbiologists, and civil engineers — on live firing ranges in Northern Ireland.
Over two weeks, these soldiers were put to the test using some of the British Army’s most powerful weapons, including the .50 cal and GPMG.
The course, known as the Platform Weapons Operators course, enables them to be deployed on operations as part of a Jackal crew – should they ever need to be mobilised.
