The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will receive an H225M Full Mission Simulator (FMS) from Spain-based company Indra.
In an announcement to coincide with the Singapore Airshow 2024, Indra said on 20 February that it had been awarded a contract to develop and produce the new simulator. “The contract includes post-delivery support, technical assistance, and options for future expansion.

Kratos saw significant revenue growth in 2023 and is investing internally for future programmes. Revenues of USD1.04 billion resulted from 15.5% growth and 12.6% organic growth compared with 2022, according to a company statement on 13 February.
In the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2023, Kratos saw revenues of USD237.8 million from 9.8% growth and 7.3% organic growth compared with the third quarter of 2023.

Kencoa Aerospace, a company based in Sancheon, South Korea, displayed a model of its amphibious multicopter unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) at the Singapore Airshow 2024 held 20–25 February.
Speaking to Janes, a Kencoa Aerospace official said the UAV – named KV-1 – has a 100 kg payload carrying capacity and can be adapted for cargo and firefighting applications. The UAV can be used for military and civilian applications, the company said.

The District of Columbia Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department confirmed to Task & Purpose that they received a report about a man on fire outside the embassy just before 1 p.m. Eastern Time and dispatched emergency services. The fire had been extinguished by uniformed members of the Secret Service. EMS took the man to an area hospital, saying he was suffering from “critical life threatening injuries.

American and British forces struck 18 targets across eight locations in Yemen, the fourth large-scale bombing of Houthi-controlled areas in the last two months.
The strikes, which occurred just before midnight local time on Saturday, Feb. 24, hit targets including one-way attack drones, radars, air defense systems and a helicopter, according to U.S. Central Command. The operation also hit multiple underground weapons storage facilities as well as above ground missile storage sites.
