The Duke of Edinburgh has presented Nato operational service medals to soldiers from 1st Battalion, the Scots Guards at Catterick Garrison following their two-month deployment to Kosovo on Operation Elgin🎖️
The Nato peacekeeping mission saw personnel patrol at the administrative boundary line, train Latvian troops in public order and riot control methods, and observe illegal smuggling routes.
