HMS Richmond is heading back to sea after a stop-over in Vietnam.
The Royal Navy Type 23 frigate became only the third UK ship to transit the Taiwan Strait in the past three years.
The transit was carried out with Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Higgins earlier in September.
