China has once again overstepped its bounds, this time in an incident involving the Chinese and Philippine Coast Guards. The Biden administration has denounced China’s actions during the incident, which occurred on February 6, but was revealed to the public this week.

Babcock International has been awarded a major contract to support the Skynet 6 programme.
According to a UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) announcement on 15 February, the authority has awarded Babcock International a GBP400 million (USD486.7 million) contract to manage and operate Skynet, under the Skynet 6 satellite communications (satcom) programme.

The UK Royal Navy’s (RN’s) autonomous minehunter RNMB Harrier has arrived in Bahrain to start operational evaluations, as part of the service’s Mine Hunting Capability (MHC) programme.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — The Navy’s information warfare community needs more robust virtual training capabilities in order to test its personnel on advanced and sensitive capabilities, according to a top commander.
Due to the nature of such capabilities, there are limitations to the actual systems forces use and have to turn on to train with. In fact, in some cases, the first time they experience the full capability of their weapon systems is in conflict.

India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has provided details of its tactical, short-range surface-to-surface ballistic missile known as Pralay at the Aero India 2023 show being held in Bangalore from 13 to 17 February.
