Comedians have made an impact on cultures in many different ways for thousands of years through the stage: a king’s court as a jester, a circus clown, and in the past 100+ years through stand-up acts, movies, plays and even musicals. Many times these funny professionals bring with them a special flair likely developed under stressful circumstances, other times it was a natural gift or honed through much practice. The comedians on this list share one thing in common, they are all military veterans who served their country. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

The Marine Corps on Friday officially activated its newest command to synchronize and integrate information capabilities with traditional military operations.
The Marine Corps Information Command (MCIC) is designed to more tightly link the service’s information forces – including cyber, intelligence and space – in theater with the broader joint force across the globe.
In a ceremony at Fort Meade, the Marine Corps activated the command, which will be led by Maj. Gen. Ryan Heritage, the commander of Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command and Marine Corps Forces Space Command.

For military applications, body-worn equipment must be able to withstand severe conditions to provide soldiers with invaluable real-time data when and where it matters. Ruggedised miniature connectors and cabling can perform in the most demanding environments while offering greater flexibility, discretion, and safety than ever before.
Future soldier systems
Future soldier systems can be as simple as cabling systems that can be woven into a uniform. Lightweight electronics and flexible cabling allow for normal movement while maintaining real-time data transfer.

The ammunition production at this unit will be carried out by the joint venture company Rheinmetall Hungary Munitions, in collaboration with the Hungarian state.
Initially, the new factory will manufacture 30mm-medium-calibre ammunition for the Lynx infantry fighting vehicles, which are presently being produced by Rheinmetall at its Zalaegerszeg facility.

This work is expected to commence from 2024.
