L3Harris Technologies has announced that its Intelligence and Cyber International (ICI) team was selected for the UK’s Army Warfighting Experiment (AWE) – Urban Series 2022-24.
Based in Tewkesbury, UK, the ICI team, as one of the participating companies, demonstrated their technology that aims to prepare the UK Armed Forces for various future conflicts in an urban electromagnetic environment (EME).
The company said an urban EME has ever-changing physical characteristics that hamper overall threat detection.

The demonstration was conducted over a period of two weeks.

The FK-3 air-defence system, an example pictured above in service with the Serbian Armed Forces, was unveiled by the Royal Thai Navy’s Air and Coastal Defence Command. The Royal Thai Navy (RTN) has unveiled its Chinese-made FK-3 air-defence system during a visit by Commander-in-Chief Admiral Choengchai Chomchoengphaet to the Air and Coastal Defense Command (ACDC) stationed in Chonburi province.

Lockheed Martin has successfully carried out a live fire demonstration of the Spike non line-of-sight (NLOS), all-up rounds (AURs) missile from the US Army’s Apache helicopter.
The demonstration was executed by the company’s Precision Strike team at the Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona, US, on 26 January.
As part of the live fire test, which involved two different scenarios, a total of two Spike NLOS AURs were fired from a US Army Apache Echo Model V6 attack helicopter against a pre-destined stationary target.
