Major or minor You don’t want yourself An incident Don’t ever invade China Mark Knopfler, Don’t Crash the Ambulance (2004)     Just as the U.S. National Defense Strategy lists homeland defense as the first priority of the Department of Defense, China’s national defense policy states that the top mission of China’s armed forces is to “safeguard national territorial sovereignty (领土主权) and maritime rights and interests (海洋权益).

It’s nothing new when an Army helo crew throws out interesting call signs before taking flight. Today, a CH-47 Chinook helicopter crew — with a tail number of AE59B1 — plugged in a call sign of “FUKIRAN” when they flew from Wilmington to Fayetteville, North Carolina.
“The 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade acknowledges someone used an unauthorized and inappropriate moniker for one of its helicopters that recently returned from a deployment,” said Lt. Col. César Santiago, an Army spokesman, in a statement to Task & Purpose.

The Defense Innovation Unit is on the hunt for generative artificial intelligence tools to help the U.S. military with joint planning and wargaming.
DIU issued a solicitation to industry Friday via its commercial solutions opening contracting mechanism to support an effort called Thunderforge.
“The joint planning process is complex, time-consuming, and resource-intensive.

The schedules, or lack thereof, for a military family is… fluid at best. Throw in a PCS and the gloves come off. For those of us with a steady exercise routine, finding the time and resources during these transitions can be very difficult. While many hotels will have a gym, not all will have a large selection of equipment. One thing to remember is that base gyms are always an option.
Wherever you find a place to exercise, we still have the main issue to deal with: Time.
Most people like to train everything in one session. It’s efficient and requires only one trip to the gym.
