The United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based subsidiary of Electro Optic Systems (EOS) displayed a mock-up of an electrically operated 14.5 mm machine gun (MG) at IDEX 2023, being held in Abu Dhabi from 20 to 24 February.
Speaking to Janes, Waad Abujarad and Fatmah Alkaabi, mechanical design engineers at EOS Advanced Technologies, said that a prototype of the system is scheduled to begin testing in 2023.

While the Kasser 2 looks superficially different, it has BMC-branded components and a representative of the Turkish company said that an MRAP displayed by the IGG was essentially a Kirpi II.

BELGRADE, SERBIA –Belgrade intended to acquire six MiG-29 fighters. Belgrade hoped to improve the combat power of its air force with the prospective procurement of six new aircraft. Currently, Serbia operates eleven Soviet MiG-29 fighters.
However, Serbia is about to give up Soviet fighters. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced that maintenance of the MiG-29s had become impossible. The war between Ukraine and Russia prevents buying almost anything military from Russia.

The Pentagon has now confirmed the authenticity of a picture taken from a U-2S Dragon Lady spy plane of the Chinese surveillance balloon that passed over parts of the United States and Canada earlier this month before being shot down. The U.S. military subsequently released a high-resolution copy of the image that gives us the best look to date at the balloon and the massive payload apparatus suspended below it.
At a press conference earlier today, Deputy Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh told reporters the picture was legitimate and that an official release would be coming.
