Staff Sgt. Brandon Allen Amos-Dixon is charged with the death of Staff Sgt. Jimmy Lee Smith III. (Hoke County Sheriff’s Office.).

Staff Sgt. Brandon A. Amos-Dixon, a culinary specialist assigned to U.S. Army Special Operations Command, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of another soldier based at Fort Bragg, military and police officials said.
Staff Sgt. Jimmy Lee Smith III, 24, was killed on Jan. 18 in Raeford, North Carolina.

Finland is to allow intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft of “key international partners” to operate in its national airspace, it was announced on 23 March.
The announcement by the Finnish government coincided with a surveillance flight flown by a US Air Force (USAF) L-3 RC-135W Rivet Joint signals intelligence (SIGINT) aircraft that was seen on flight tracker services routing the length of the Finnish-Russian border.

Recently released data has revealed that the U.S. military saw a spike in the rate of myocarditis diagnoses in 2021. Myocarditis is a potentially fatal form of heart inflammation that has been linked primarily to Covid-19 vaccines, which all military personnel were under a vaccine mandate for, but it can also be a less frequent side effect of contracting the Covid virus.
According to data from the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMET), the diagnoses of myocarditis increased by 130.

The Egyptian Navy has taken delivery of three Cyclone-class coastal patrol ships from the United States.

Axellio has been awarded a contract to continue the expansion of the US Army’s Garrison Defensive Cyberspace Operations Platform (GDP).
Valued at approximately $39.5m, the contract has been awarded as part of the Army’s GDP version 3 and 4 programmes.
This is the fourth such contract awarded to Axellio. Similar follow-on contracts were awarded to Axellio in July and November 2021.
