Iran’s pro-government media on Wednesday gave extensive coverage of the Saqr missile, saying it has been used in Iraq to target US soldiers in Syria and Yemen by Iranian-backed Houthi militia. This links Iran to all these attacks without giving direct credit to Iran.

According to the Tasnim source, this “mystery” missile has been used in numerous places connected to pro-Iranian forces in the Middle East. The fact that the missile can detect targets using optical and thermal technologies explains its function as a cruise missile and “loitering” munition.

After delivering the last Boeing 747, Boeing reached the mark of 1,000 deliveries of the Boeing 737 MAX family, although it has not communicated this fact.
Irish leasing company Avolon announced on Twitter that it had recently delivered the 1,000th 737 MAX produced by Boeing to a customer. However, it also did not say which customer and when the delivery occurred.
Boeing delivered the first 737 MAX, a 737 MAX 8, to Malindo Air (Batik Air Malaysia) on May 16, 2017.

The contract signed by the Ukrainian defense ministry, the French defense ministry, and Thales covers the delivery of complete short-range air defense systems, including a GM200 radar, a command-and-control center, a radio communications system, and air target designators. The visit to Limours by the two defense ministers included a tour of Thales’s military radar design, production, and support facilities.
Thales’s facility in Limours, France, is now Europe’s biggest air defence research and development hub.

The Republic of Korea (RoK) Army has showcased a new combat unit known as the Army Tiger Demonstration Brigade (ATDB) in a training exercise with the United States.
The exercise was held in Paju city, near the North Korean border. The US Army’s quick reaction unit known as Stryker Brigade Combat Team also participated in the drills.
