The last surviving prosecutor from the Nuremberg trials in Germany is dead. Ben Ferencz, a World War II U.S. Army soldier and Harvard Law School graduate was only 27 when he successfully prosecuted Nazi commanders for their roles in crimes against humanity during the war. Ferencz was 103.
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum broke the news. Only recently out of the Army, Ferencz was the youngest member of the prosecution team of the subsequent Nuremberg trials in 1947.

Russia should give up this aircraft carrier and scrap it. Damn, Admiral Kuznetsov is finally out of the dry dock, but that doesn’t mean he’s returning to the high seas.
More disasters have befallen Russia’s single aircraft carrier than anyone could have predicted. Deadly fires have broken out there on multiple occasions. Several planes have been lost, and there have been countless failures and accidents, including the sinking of a dry dock.

Originally, Russia had planned for Admiral Kuznetsov to undergo a four-year refit.

In order to move on to the following round in 2024, two industry heavyweights, Lockheed and Raytheon, are developing prototype missiles.

Su-25 and Su-34 fighters often work in the park during combat operations, Russian state media confirmed last month. The Russian military is likely using its Su-34 platforms to “cover” the Su-25 when it flies low-altitude strike missions.
According to those who have studied the continuing Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Su-25 has taken the greatest number of casualties over the past thirteen months. Mobile phone photos of a shot-down Su-25 fighter jet went viral in March.

Artillery units on both sides of the line, despite the continued duels, are reportedly dialing back fire missions to save up ammunition for the long-awaited Ukrainian counteroffensive.
Russian milblogger Alexander Khodakovsky claims that those Russian units not involved in ongoing offensives have had ammunition supplies seriously curtailed. Khodakovsky attributed the rationing to concerns about the potential offensive.

Russia is still firing more rounds a day in Bakhmut and other parts of the front.

A Russian warship named “Admiral Gorshkov” was seen in a Saudi Arabian port, where it docked for the first time since diplomatic relations with Iran were restored. According to Arab News, the warship refueled and rested for two days at the port of Jeddah on its way back from South Africa to Russia.
Admiral Gorshkov will travel to Syria.
According to the source, the ship will travel to Syria to undergo “repairs.” The ship’s repair needs are unclear at this time. There have been previous suspicions that Iran hid weapons in disaster aid shipments to Syria.

A U.S. Army Special Forces veteran was sentenced to more than 80 months in prison this week after being convicted on multiple charges including possession of classified military intelligence. 
Jeremy Brown, a veteran of the U.S. Army who served for 20 years before retiring in 2012 as a master sergeant, was sentenced on Thursday, April 6 to seven years and three months by U.S. District Judge Susan Bucklew. The Tampa resident was convicted in December for six counts.
