A lot of progress has been made in China’s weapon development, from its early backwardness and lack of advanced models to its present, constant, rapid development. Many of its weaponry and pieces of equipment are now at the same technological level as those of more industrialized nations. Whether the naval, military, or aviation forces or the rocket force are pretty well-equipped.
Let’s not talk about large and complete weapons, but only three kinds of weapons that surpass the West.

Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence directorate says it is making good use of a U.S.-made UH-60A Black Hawk helicopter that it has acquired. The directorate says that the Black Hawk, the only one of its type in the country currently, offers important performance advantages over its Soviet-designed Mi-8 Hip and Mi-24 Hind series helicopters, and it is pushing to get more of them. That a UH-60A was in Ukrainian service first emerged in February, as you can read more about in The War Zone‘s initial reporting on the helicopter.

Russian forces and a private military company called the Wagner Group have suffered daily casualties in Ukraine. While the loss rate has slowed in the past week, the fighting in March was particularly deadly, with an average of 400 to 500 killed and wounded daily.
Russia declared on Friday that it had isolated Ukrainian forces inside Bakhmut, while Kyiv insisted that supply lines remained open in the city, the scene of the most brutal battle of the war.
AFP could not verify the situation on the ground in the eastern city, which has erupted in the longest and bloodiest fighting since Russia invaded Ukraine last year.
Since last summer, Russian forces have been battling for control of the city, which was home to 70,000 people before the war and whose fall would represent a major symbolic success for Russia.
