The US government has approved the sale to Canada of the Boeing P-8A Poseidon maritime multimission aircraft (MMA).
The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) announced the Department of State approval and the prospective procurement of 16 aircraft on 27 June. The sale, which also includes spares, training, and support, would be valued at approximately USD5.9 billion.

The US Department of Defense (DoD) recently awarded a contract to support the development of AeroVironment’s high-altitude, solar-powered unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), according to officials at the US-based company.
The contract is the DoD’s first for Sunglider, which has mainly been described as a commercial effort. AeroVironment envisions fielding a network of long-endurance UAVs to provide global internet service.

The Hensoldt TRML-4D ground-based air-defence radar is being acquired for Ukraine’s IRIS-T SLM systems. The radar is designed for near- to long-range ground-to-air detection and weapon assignment. (Hensoldt)
Hensoldt has been contracted to deliver four additional TRML-4D active electronically scanned array (AESA) ground-based air-defence radars to Ukraine.
The radars, ordered by Diehl Defence, are intended to supply Ukraine’s IRIS-T surface-launched medium-range missile (SLM) air-defence systems, Hensoldt announced on 27 June.

According to a Turkish defense website, recent reports indicate that China has provided artillery ammunition to Russia in the context of the ongoing conflict with Ukraine.

The controversy has arisen as a result of images spread on social networks in which a Chinese-made Type 66 artillery projectile is observed. With a diameter of 152mm, it is suggested that said ammunition, allegedly manufactured in 2018, is now the property of the Russian military.
The implication that Russia has started using Chinese munitions has yet to be confirmed.

South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) has signed a contract worth KRW86.7 billion (USD66 million) with local firm Hancom Lifecare to procure ground laser target designators (GLTDs).
DAPA said in late June that the project comprises the acquisition of a laser target designator, a laser rangefinder, a thermal imager, camera, and auxiliary equipment.
