The UK Royal Air Force (RAF) has received into service the last of its Airbus A400M C1 Atlas airlifters currently under contract.
Aircraft ZM421, the 22nd A400M, was flown from the final assembly line in Seville, Spain, into the home of the UK’s fixed-wing air mobility force at RAF Brize Norton station in Oxfordshire on 22 May.

The US Department of Defense (DoD) has delivered 50 additional joint light tactical vehicles (JLTVs) to the Lithuanian armed forces.
The delivery is the third batch of JLTVs as part of an agreement signed in 2019 between the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence and the DoD for a total of 200 units.
With the additional JLTVS, the Lithuanian Armed Forces will possess 150 vehicles. The total 200 units will arrive by the end of the year.

Next year, implementation of a second contract signed in 2022 for 300 additional vehicles from Oshkosh Defense will begin.

The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reiterated its opposition to an April report by the Public Account Committee which said that the department’s procurement system was “broken”, stating the claims by the PAC were “unsubstantiated”.
Released on 19 April, the PAC report into whether the UK could afford its military equipment plan said that “optimism bias” was affecting the MoD’s budget planning and that financial risks had been “ignored”.

With just 11 minutes to spare before a congressional deadline, American financial regulators had satisfied one of the requirements of Congress’ Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act. It was a slapdash effort; names on the list appeared to have been copy-and-pasted from the Forbes billionaires report and from public directories of Russian government staff.

Fábrica Argentina de Aviones (FAdeA) delivered the ninth IA-63 Pampa III to the Argentine Air Force, and showcased a new modernised cabin for the IA-58 Pucará Fénix on 18 May.
The same day, Argentine Minister of Defense Jorge Taiana signed a contract with FAdeA for five structural wing assemblies (shipset) to install new Pratt & Whitney PT-6 engines on five Pucarás, and signed a separate contract for developing a vertical take-off and landing unmanned aircraft system for the Argentine Army.
