German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is visiting the Czech Republic for two days.
The visit of the Minister of Defense of the Federal Republic of Germany is another important milestone in Czech-German relations. Boris Pistorius became the first German Defense Minister to visit the Church of Saint Cyril and Methodius crypt, where Czech paratroopers defended themselves against encirclement during World War II.

Video footage has emerged that appears to show a Russian loitering munition, or kamikaze drone, striking a Skyguard control station of the Ukrainian armed forces. The control station further looks to be part of a ground-based air defense (GBAD) system that uses the Aspide surface-to-air missile. If that was indeed a Skyguard/Aspide system, it may be one of the only examples of its kind received by Ukraine to date. The video underscores the ongoing threat Russian loitering munitions pose to Ukrainian GBADs, which the country desperately needs.

Spain sent a new shipment of military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine yesterday. The delivery, consisting of various equipment and vehicles, including 4 Leopard 2A4 tanks previously committed by the Spanish government to Kyiv, is expected in addition to the Leopard 2s previously shipped to Ukraine. This new aid that will arrive in Poland at the beginning of August will contribute to strengthening the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A Florida company plans to turn an iconic World War II seaplane design into a modern aircraft it claims can perform airborne amphibious operations required by the U.S. military. 
Dubbed the Next Generation Amphibious Aircraft (NGAA) Catalina II twin turboprop amphibious flying boat, the aircraft is based on the historic Consolidated PBY 5 Catalina that provided maritime patrol, light transport, search and rescue, among other duties.

The Department of Defense on Monday submitted its plan to certify the cybersecurity compliance of defense industrial base contractors that hold the Pentagon’s sensitive information to the Office of Management and Budget for review, officially kicking off the rulemaking process for the program known as the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
DOD sent its CMMC framework to OMB’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, which will take the next 90 days or less to review the rule.
