In an expansive, 64-page amendment to the fiscal 2024 National Defense Authorization Act, a bipartisan crew of senators are proposing a comprehensive plan to accelerate the disclosure of all U.S. government records associated with reports of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) and potential lifeforms that demonstrate “non-human intelligence.”
The UAP Disclosure Act of 2023 would codify 22 highly technical definitions for those and other terms associated with what was until recently referred to as UFOs.

The sailor of the patrol boat Sergey Kotov of the Russian Black Sea Fleet used weapons to intercept two Ukrainian unmanned boats trying to attack.
“Ukrainian armed forces launched an unsuccessful night attack attempt with two high-speed unmanned boats against the patrol boat Sergey Kotov of the Black Sea Fleet,” the Russian Defense Ministry said on July 25.
The agency said the attack happened while the Russian warship was on a mission to control maritime traffic in the southwestern Black Sea region, about 370 km from the city of Sevastopol on the Crimean peninsula.

The U.S. Marine Corps has finally given us a look at the uncrewed 4×4 launch vehicle at the core of its new ground-based Tomahawk cruise missile unit. Dubbed the Long Range Fires Launcher, it is similar, but not identical to the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle-based design that the service is also fielding as a launch platform for Naval Strike Missile anti-ship missiles.
Two Long Range Fires Launchers were part of the backdrop for an official ceremony to mark the standing up of Battery A, 11th Marines at Camp Pendleton in California on July 21.
Colonel Yevgeny Vashunin led his troops to rescue a Russian assault detachment surrounded by Ukraine but was seriously injured and killed in the fighting.
“The commander of the Leningrad Regiment, a talented military leader and exemplary citizen, has passed away. Colonel Yevgeny Alexandrovich Vashunin served his country until his last breath,” said the chairman of the St. Petersburg, Alexander Belsky, on July 24 announced.
The Leningrad Regiment was a unit of troops mobilized from St. Petersburg and the northwestern region of Russia.
OCCAR (Organisation Conjointe de Coopération en matière d’Armement, the international organization for cooperation in joint armament) has exercised the construction of the third new generation submarine related to the U212NFS (Near Future Submarine) program for the Italian Navy assigned to Fincantieri.
The vessel has a total value of more than 500 million euros, including integrated support service, and will be delivered in 2030.
