The Defense Innovation Unit has issued contract awards to prototype the next generation of kits for U.S. Cyber Command’s defensive teams that are charged with protecting Pentagon networks.
Sealing Technologies — a Parsons company — World Wide Technology and Omni Federal were tapped to develop prototypes for the Joint Cyber Hunt Kit, self-contained “fly away” technology that provides a security operations center in a box, according to DIU and budget documentation.
DIU is running the acquisition on behalf of Cybercom.

On 11 March 2022, national news media reported that 5 West Point Cadets on spring break in Florida sought out a drug dealer to purchase cocaine. The cocaine was laced with fentanyl, sending them to the hospital. Fortunately, none of the cadets died from the fentanyl overdose. At least one of the cadets was a West Point football player. However, the incident opened the eyes of many to the fact that all was not right at West Point.

Atkins was born in Great Falls, Montana, on December 9, 1975. He grew up loving the outdoors and spent much time hunting, fishing, and camping. Then, after graduating high school, Atkins became restless and discontent with his civilian life.

Across the U.S., sites offering the initial enlistment test for potential recruits are being forced to close and reduce their hours due to cuts recommended by the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE.
In order to enlist in any of the military services, recruits take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test which assesses science, math, and language knowledge and helps identify potential military career paths based on their skills and interests. 
In order to take that test, applicants go to one of the 65 Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS).
