For Amy Cokayne and England, winning the final against Canada at the Allianz Stadium, better known as Twickenham, was the third time lucky in a World Cup final after losses to New Zealand in the 2017 and 2021 tournaments.
"Luckily, the final wasn’t as nail-biting as the last one and it didn’t come down to the last line-out," said the eight-time Six Nations winner.
"It was a great day. I loved it, and the atmosphere was incredible. I’m not sure I’ll ever play in a rugby match ever quite like it again.
